It is time again for the always popular Get To Know Rotary Cookout (GTKRC).  This year's venue will be the pavilion at the Clarence Town Park (Town Place Park) at 5400 Goodrich Road, adjacent to Clarence Town Hall.

The event will be on Thursday, August 14 at 6PM. The cost will be $15 per person and include a steak dinner, beverages, fellowship, activities and much much more!!!  Spouses are encouraged to attend and there is no charge for prospective members.

On Thursday October 18, 2012, the Clarence Rotary Club celebrated our 52nd anniversary at La Scala Ristorante.  Fellow Clarence Rotarian Simon Joseph gave us exclusive access to the restaurant and delighed our pallets with exquisite dishes from around the world. Congratulations goes out to Teresa Justinger and Domenic Cortese for being awarded our 2012 Paul Harris Awards. 

Additional Distinguished Service awards were handed out to Peter DiCostanzo for his work with Honor Flight Buffalo, Billy Casilio for his outstanding efforts as the Chairman of the 2012 Lobsterfest and Chuck and Mary Kohout for the 20 year of dedication to making Lobsterfest a successful event.

It is always amazing what you can happen along when taking a fall drive through the countryside in Central New York.

The 2012 Porsche Raffle Gala was a wonderful evening filled with great food, great drink, and music provided by President Ed Berowski and his band In The Groove.

More World War II veterans are getting ready to take what many consider a trip of a lifetime.
Honor Flight Buffalo introduced another group of vets who will fly from Western New York to Washington, D.C. to visit the memorial in honor of their service. Just two weeks from now, 27 of them will take the first of two planned trips thanks to generous donations.
"The veterans met their guardians, and got to know each other before the flight, and  do it in memory of all the World War II vets that aren't able to see the memorial," says Debbie Watkins.
 

Clarence Rotarian Norm Naab Sr , a World War II veteran will be making the May 5^th Honor Flight to Washington DC to visit the WWII Memorial.  He will be accompanied by his son Norm Naab Jr, a former Clarence Rotarian and veteran as well.
