ANNOUNCEMENTS:

1.

It's a great day in WNY! We are but 11 days out from Lobster- fest. We need your banners...we need your auction items...we need your hands on help...and now I need something. I am looking for some dance music to play on Lobster fest Saturday. Preferably songs loaded on an I Pod. However, I would happily take those on CD as well. Could you please let me know if you can help?

Thank You!

Yours in Rotary,

Paul

2. Dear Rotarians and Friends of Clarence Rotary:

Lobsterfest is next weekend....

The banner ads are the largest fundraiser that we, as a group, have with this event.

A little history...Last year we sold approx. 36 banners. That was the smallest amount in our club history.

As of today we have 31 banners paid for.

If anyone has requested a banner and not paid, please follow up with the sponsor.  We accept checks,VISA, MASTERCARD, and DISCOVER card.

It is crunch time.  With all the hard work for this event, let us gather some sponsors.  The money goes to the community in which we live and work in.

Please, do what you can to either be a sponsor, or sell a banner.

We need the sponsor information and $$ by this Friday so the banners can be ordered/made in time for our event.

Please feel free to contact me with any questions at:

Kevin.B.Petho@us.hsbc.com

3. Hello Fellow Rotarians!

Muchos Gracias to those of you who have already given an item or financial gift to support the Lobsterfest Auction.

At this Friday's meeting, please bring all additional donations so that we will be able to get them ready for our event.

We will also be prepared to accept any financial gifts from those of you who would like to make monetary donations so that we can purchase additional items for the auction.

Please give me a call if you have any questions.

Kindest regards,

Suzanne (Sam) Lemke

Also a reminder :

Dear Fellow Clarence Rotarians:

Some of you may think this is early but...please save this date. November 6th, 2010!  This is the evening we will celebrate Clarence Rotary's 50th Anniversary! There is only one of these in our lives! Please...please mark you calendars now and don't miss it!

The committee has narrowed down the location and this year's Charter Night will be different. We will not distribute perfect attendance pins nor award Paul Harris Fellows. Instead, this evening will be one of celebration, fellowship, entertainment  and remembrance.

It will also be an evening of black tie and gowns. A chance for all to "tidy up". Once again, mark your calendars NOW for November 6th, 2010.

Details will follow.

Yours in Rotary,

Paul Justinger
