ADG BARBARA GUIDA PRESENTS 2010-11 ROTARY AWARDS

On Sunday, June 26th President Susan Ballard received on behalf of the Rotary Club of Clarence the 2010-11 Rotary International Presidential Citation.  The Presidential Citation was awarded by Rotary International President Ray Klinginsmith for demonstration of Rotary's commitment to fellowship and service.  Additionally, Karen Oakes District Governor of Rotary District 7090 bestowed the 2010-11Lighthouse Award upon the Rotary Club of Clarence.  The Lighthouse Award is intended to highlight clubs that have become a beacon to other clubs because of their organization and involvement in all aspects of Rotary Club life.  The Lighthouse was chosen as a symbol of success because of the large number of lighthouses that dot the waters of our district.   Assistant District Governor, member of the Rotary Club of Clarence, Barbara Guida presented the awards to outgoing President Susan Ballard.  Incoming 2011-12 President Joe David was in attendance as well to receive the honor.
